Measures to cope with global warming

Target

The ratio of energy-saving railway carriages will be raised to 76% in fiscal 2005. (in fiscal 1995, it was 64%)
Energy input per unit of output of railway carriages will be reduced 7% in fiscal 2005 from the fiscal 1995 level.

Measures

Make efforts to adopt energy-saving models when increasing or renewing electric cars.
